Costa Sunglasses: See What's Out There

If that title sounds familiar, then you know the popular hash tag from Costa Sunglasses (#SeeWhatsOutThere) and it’s a great line. With Costa polarized lenses, you can see what’s out there really well. It’s surprising to me how many anglers don’t realize how important good lenses are.

I can’t begin to count the times I’ve said, "Do you see that fish?" The response is usually, "What fish?" Then I say, "Let me see your glasses."

Then I don’t see the fish and understand the problem.

This year we tripled our stock of the 580 Green Mirror Lens and now it is offered in the 580P lens, with is their poly lens making it lighter weight.  For those that have never worn the 580 Green Mirror it literally makes Lake Pend Oreille look like a tropical paradise.

Check out the Costa sunglasses we have online right here.

The 580 lens enhances colors by blocking yellow light and eliminates haze by blocking blue light. These are the clearest lenses on the planet.  With 100% UV protection and 100% polarized these glasses will relax your eyes all summer long.

See what’s out there also means go out and explore. I like to fish familiar water, but I also like to prospect new places. New discoveries keep fly fishing fun.

Recently, I fished in four new locations. I fished a new pond, a new reservoir, a new access on a small river and a new access on the Missouri River.

Not only was it fun to explore new water, but now I’ve got four fresh places to go back to, because I discovered some really good stuff out there.

If you’ve been out there, you know that these guys are happening. Last spring, the Missouri River provided some great BWO action. It’s time to fish those delicate little parachute dries again--any having the right polarized sunglasses makes seeing those small flies that much easier.

We’ve got your old reliable patterns and some great new ones like the Morrish May, Improved Sparkle Dun, Snowshoe Sparkle Dun, Bucky’s Klinkhammer, Greased Lightning and Spotlight May. Before the hatch starts, you can get them with the Tungsten Death Metal, Radiation Baetis, Two Bit Hooker, Juan’s High-Def, BLM or any of the JuJu’s.

You can check out our selection of flies online here.

It’s go time out there. So many good choices.

If you need some intel on where to plan your next venture, come on in and we can point you in several directions with an assortment of tasty flies and other gear. You can even grab some Costa’s if you need to improve your vision. Then go #SeeWhatsOutThere for yourself.
