Hello, Simon Gawesworth here from Rio Products, at IFTD this year, in Orlando, and I'm about to talk to you about some new trout spey lines we've got coming out for the new season.

Spey is a big passion of mine, and trout spey's a massive passion of mine and there's a lot more people getting into this thing called trout spey. So we've brought out a whole series of new products that are designed for anglers who want to fish for trout with these little short spey rods, like two weight, three weights, four weights to five weights, that kind of stuff.

Very simply, just keep this real brief and easy, there's two types of line. One's called a Skagit, this is our Intouch Skagit Trout Spey, it's kind of a chartreusey green color. Skagit lines throw big flies, this is your choice of line if you're going to throw sinking tips and big streamers.

The other option is a Scandi style line and a Scandi style line has a long, long tapers to it, much softer presentation, has this kind of soft tannish color line. These are good for dry flies, soft tackle, small streamers, that kind of stuff, a little bit more presentation orientated. These lines are available as heads like this, where they're in a plastic bag where you just have a head, you have to have a running line on the back end and a leader on the front end.

Also, if you don't like the connection of loop-to-loop joins, these bull lines are both available integrated, which means a running line and head all in one piece, so you don't have to worry about loop-to-loop connections, wrapping, going up and down your rod guides. A lot of trout anglers don't like that loop-to-loop connection, so that's why we have this integrated version of both lines.

And then finally, if you really don't know what to do and you just kind of want a package that does everything. We have the Skagit Trout Versitip pair here. That is a package that has, in the wallet you'll have three tips, a floating tip, a full sinking tip, what's called a five and five iMow, which is half floating half sinking. It's got a Skagit trout head in there, it's got a running line in there and so if you really don't know what you want, you get one of these. This says, what does it say? This says four, so if you got a four weight trout spey rod, you get one of these, you got all the gear in there, everything you need is just like a grab and go and you're set.

So that is the new range of trout spey lines from Rio products, you can get them from North 40.
