Hi, my name is Eric Newfield and today we're in Orlando at the 2018 ICAST show. We're really excited to feature and show you guys some new products. The new product that we're showing today is our Sims Midstream Insulating piece. As a company, we're really, really excited and hyper-focused to keep you, the angler, really warm and dry. And this new insulting piece is exactly built for that.
It's a jacket that's made out of Primaloft. Primaloft gold. So we're gonna do 60 grams of Primaloft through the body and 40 grams of Primaloft through the arms. The idea here is to keep your core warm at the same keeping your arms mobile and keeping you mobile.
The outer face fabric, as you can see, for a puffy jacket, is really a smooth face, and the smooth face is a Pertex fabric. It's a very durable fabric, and it looks really good.
As you can see from the inside of this jacket you have your quilting. That's where you keep your insulation in the places that you need it. The jacket does have a zippered pocket here on the left chest to hold license, camera, phone, that type of thing. It's a two-tone color.
We also built a Midstream pant. And the Midstream pant is really, fabric wise, built from the same fabric. So you have a Pertex outer face fabric. The insulation on this pant is a little bit heavier. You're gonna get 80 grams of insulation. As you can see, you have a button, a fly, you have a really nice adjustment here on the belt, so you can really dial in the fit.
As you can see in the seat area, as well as the knee, you have a little insulation, or a little durability built in there in your high wear areas.
And lastly, and maybe just as important as anything, the bottom of the cuff has some Velcro. So if you are wearing this piece inside your waders, you can go ahead and Velcro the bottom of the wader, or the bottom of the pant tight so it fits really comfortably inside the wader.
