The Simms Katafront Hoody in the Rogue Gone Rogue at IFTD 2018

Simms new mid-layer fleece the Katafront hoody sheds water and has a polyester cuff to aid in quick drying after releasing a fish. Lightweight the Katafront has a hood and can be used as a lightweight outer cover during late spring and early fall. Watch the video below to learn more.

Hi. My name is Eric Newfeld and today we're at the IFTD show 2018 in Orlando Florida. This is a great show, we get an opportunity to really share a lot of great new products that will be coming out.

This is the new Simms Katafront Hoody, this hoody will be out here in August. It's a new product, it's a new layering piece that we have. We're really excited about it. The fabric is a really, really good durable fabric, with a really good DWR coating. So if you do get caught in a rainstorm with this, it will bead some water.

We tried to bring this piece to have a technical field to it, if you will. So, on the sleeve, went ahead and gave the product a polyester cuff. This is a great feature that if you get your sleeve wet, the sleeve is going to dry really quickly.

So we all know we're fishing, we catch a fish, we get our sleeves wet. So this nice polyester cuff is going to dry quickly. The jacket does have a hood as well, so for inclement weather or downstream wind. Full zip so easy on and off. Katafront Hoody.
